MIVIDO: an association for horses and ponies at the end of their careers.
Founded in 1994 in Geneva, with the
intention of giving a deserving retirement to riding school horses and ponies who can not longer be worked or ridden.
Since 2006 MIVIDO equally welcomes horses from other areas who are at risk of being slaughtered,
prematurely euthanized or abandoned because economically they are not “useful” any more.
The horses and ponies we take into our care are never ridden, nor sold to people who wish to acquire a horse to walk!
Definitely retired they depend on funds from MIVIDO for their care and well being...The Society - a non profit organization - was recognized as an “association d’utilité publique” in 2003.
SUPPORT OUR CAUSE ! We not only save horses... we provide continual
physical and financial care for the rest of their lives!
TO CONTINUE WE MUST COLLECT THE NECESSARY FUNDS, EACH DAY, EACH MONTH, EACH YEAR...MIVIDO assures the retirement of more than 50 horses and ponies.
